Objectives

The Solid Mechanics Conferences are a series of biennial international conferences which have been organized by the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research (IPPT), Polish Academy of Sciences since 1953.

The aim of the Conference is to bring together researchers from different countries and to provide an opportunity to present and discuss scientific results on a wide range of topics related to solid mechanics.

The conferences have maintained high scientific standards and served as a forum for exchange of ideas and research information. Traditionally, in addition to the contributed oral and poster presentations, a number of plenary and keynote lectures are delivered by invited outstanding researchers of international recognition.
